CONFERENCE SPONSORS:
YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Sponsors are the lifeblood of music personnel conferences. You enable us to offer moderate registration fees so that more people can afford to attend. We have a track record to prove it: our attendance figures have grown significantly along with the number of sponsorships over the years. It’s a wonderful opportunity not only to promote and publicize yourself, your business, or an artist on your roster, but it’s also
a way to support and to thank the stations that have been doing their best to support you during the year. We all benefit.

Several sponsors already have signed up for MPC 39. If you are interested in joining them, please review the remaining sponsorship opportunities below and contact Beverley Ervine, AMPPR Director of Sponsorships, at ervine.1@osu.edu or call 614-292-9678, ext. 4-9792.

 EVENT SPONSORSHIPS

Cocktail Receptions (2 available) beginning at $3000 each. Two popular events that provide attendees a fun way to network and mingle at the end of the day as they listen to your artist(s).

Snack Breaks (2 available) at $1250 each. A great way to enhance your marketing exposure at minimal cost by keeping our attendees going with refreshments and optional entertainment.

Continental Breakfasts (2 available) at $1250 each. There is nothing like a good cup of coffee or tea to begin the day, and sponsors are needed to make it possible. Providing entertainment is optional.

SCHOLARSHIP SPONSORSHIPS

Our goal is to have five or more full scholarships to award this year to deserving candidates. Each is valued at $1000, which should offset most, if not all, costs associated for an individual to attend. It is a competitive application process for first-time attendees to the MPC.

If your attendance at the MPCs has made a difference in your career or business, you can join us in this worthwhile endeavor to help those who may never be able to afford to come on their own.

The conference dates are February 14-18, 2001. The agenda is shaping up. The winter issue of Music Notes, to be published in mid- November, will contain the agenda, the registration form, travel arrangements, and Tucson Marriott University Park Hotel accommodations. Descriptions of the sessions and profiles of our special guests and entertainment, along with details about our gala Valentine’s Day opening reception on February 14, will be included. Conference information will also be made available on our web site, http://amppr.org.
