Each
year AMPPR awards scholarships to the Music Personnel Conference to applicants
who have never before attended a conference and whose attendance would
benefit the individual, the individual's station, and the individual's
community.
 The
MPC 40 Robert J. Lurtsema Scholarship winner was Ann Stenner, the music
director at WCPE Radio in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
 The
three other scholarship winners to MPC 40 were Jim Blalock, music director
at WETS in Johnson City, Tennessee; John Francis, program director at KUMR
in Rolla, Missouri; and Michael Marsolek, program director at KUFM in Missoula,
Montana. |
