Association of Music Personnel in Public Radio
Summer 2000

Start planning for next February. The Music Personnel Conference planning committee is hard at work arranging for sessions and guests. We’ve already confirmed Murray Horwitz, Director of Cultural Programming at NPR, as our keynote speaker, and we’ve also lined up some dynamic performers to delight you throughout the conference days. Record companies are planning displays. The Marriott University Hotel is arranging for us to have spacious and convenient session rooms. The Marketplace will be available to you throughout the conference.

The conference dates are February 14-18, 2001. Check our web pages at http://amppr.org for updates, the agenda, travel arrangements, and hotel accommodations.

Our MPC 39 web site also has some links to points of interest in and around Tucson (and some places you can visit to pick up those wonderful southwestern jewelry and artifacts Tucson is noted for). You can keep an eye on the weather from our site as you plan your trip.

Start planning now to join us for MPC 39. If you deal with music on the radio, this is a conference you can’t afford to miss!
