Association of Music Personnel in Public Radio
Summer 1999

AMPPR AT THE 1999 PRPD

For the first time ever (that we can remember, anyway), the Association of Music Personnel in Public Radio will have an exhibitor table at the Public Radio Program Directors Association conference, September 22-25, at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.

We’ll be stocked with information about AMPPR and the services the organization provides to stations and individuals.

We have a special door-prize drawing planned, so stop by to register a station member who has never attended a music personnel conference for a complimentary registration for MPC 38 in New Orleans, February 16-20, 2000.

We want to talk to program directors about our plans to develop regional workshops for music announcers and about other programs we might develop.

We also hope to talk to PDs about next February’s Music Personnel Conference. We’d like to know what subjects program directors would like to have covered for music personnel at their stations.  You can help us build the agenda for MPC 38 in New Orleans!
